Thank you for taking a minute to learn about how I work. Mutual understanding is very important to me, therefore, I want to make sure that you know and understand my policies. Please read through this information before your appointment and let me know if you have any questions.
Studio
- The studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone under the influence of drugs/alcohol and anyone who is pregnant.
- Children are not allowed in the tattoo workspace area for safety precautions.
- Please arrive to your appointment not earlier than 5 minutes and let your artist know if you’re running late. Being more than 20 minutes late is considered no-show and we might have to reschedule your appointment, and your deposit could be forfeited.
- Please limit your company to one person as the workspace area is limited.
- We aim to provide an inclusive and comfortable space. Hate speech or discrimination on basis of ethnicity, immigration status, or religious, cultural, and/or spiritual beliefs, or any other kind of oppressive behaviour won’t be tolerated. This extends beyond the walls of the studio and we reserve the right to deny service to any person exhibiting oppressive behaviour, in life or online.
Deposits
- Deposits are non-refundable* and can only be deducted from the cost of the tattoo. I require a notice of 72 hours to reschedule your appointment, otherwise you will forfeit your deposit*. You can reschedule your appointment twice, after that you will need a new deposit to make an appointment. Failure to show up or being more than 20 minutes late for your appointment will result in a forfeited deposit (*In some circumstances the deposit can be refunded. Each situation will be reviewed individually).
- If you decide the design is not to your liking and choose to not get tattooed, the deposit will be then considered a drawing fee and will cover the cost of time spent creating your design.
Design changes
- I’ll never tattoo something you aren’t absolutely certain about!. There is always time at the start of the appointment to make adjustments, discuss size and placement and make sure you are absolutely happy with your design. However, keep in mind that drastic changes to the design may impact your appointment and deposit. It is under my discretion if the appointment needs to be reschedule and/or a new deposit is needed to accommodate the changes.
- Sometimes I can accommodate substancial changes the day of, however this means that our appointment might end up being longer than planned. Please make sure that you have enough time for your appointment in case we take longer than expected.
Touch ups
- I offer one free complementary touch up on work tattooed by me within three months of receiving your tattoo. Tattoos exempted from a free touch up include any case involving individuals who had a blatant disregard for the aftercare given to them, and anyone who no-shows or it is more than 20 minutes late to a scheduled touch up appointment.
- A $50 set up fee will charged if you wish to schedule a new touch up appointment after a no-show or being more than 20 minutes late to your scheduled appointment.
