HOW MUCH DOES IT COST A TATTOO?

The cost of your tattoo is based on the size, detail and complexity. My regular rate is $160/hour, however, sometimes I post flash sheets with tiny tattoos priced between $120 – $150.
For small, less complex pieces, I can always give you an estimate of the cost based on the information you provided on your inquiry. For larger pieces, I always do a consultation so we can discuss your tattoo needs, ideas and design options to give you a better estimate of cost for your tattoo. We can always simplify the concept and design to match your budget.

WHAT IS YOUR MINIMUM?

My minimum rate is $160. For every tattoo there’s a long list of supplies that I need to use, I also need to pay the studio and pay taxes. Therefore, no matter how small your tattoo is, this is the minimum rate. If you only want to get tiny tattoos, I recommend you to book for several tattoos so it’s worthy, as each additional tattoo only adds a little extra to the cost. For example, if you get two tiny tattoos in two different sessions, you would be paying $320, but if you get two tiny tattoos in the same session, you would have to pay $160 + 20-40 (depending on the size of the tattoo).

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?

Deposits are paid online. The rest will be paid at the end of the appointment in cash only.

DO YOU OFFER COVER UPS?

No. My style of tattoos is not very suitable for cover ups.

DO YOU TATTOO OVER SCARS / STRETCH MARKS?

Yes, but it would depend on different factors such as how thick / thin the scar is, how old the scars / stretch marks are, what color the stretch marks are. You would have to send a picture of the scars / stretch marks together with your inquiry so I can assess if it’s possible to tattoo over.

DO YOU OFFER FREE TOUCH UPS?

Yes, I offer one free complementary touch up on work tattooed by me within three months of receiving your tattoo. Tattoos exempted from a free touch up include any case involving individuals who had a blatant disregard for the aftercare given to them, and anyone who no-shows a scheduled touch up appointment.

CAN I GET A DISCOUNT IF I BRING FRIENDS TO GET TATTOOED WITH ME?

Each tattoo requires a separate set up and a new set of materials, therefore, each client is charged separately as a single customer. If you have a larger group of friends (five or more) and are getting tattooed during the same appointment, I can offer a discount.

DO YOU DO WALK-INS?

No. I work on an appointment basis. For last minute appointments you can DM me on Instagram to check availability.

DO I NEED A  CONSULTATION?

Consultations are done to go over your ideas and the possibilities of your request. You will need to bring in reference materials (hard copy images, screenshots, artwork, personal drawings, etc…) to review and discuss different options. Usually, consultations are done on larger projects. However, it can be done in smaller tattoos too.

DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

A $100 deposit is required to book an appointment. This goes towards either starting a design or securing a date. The deposit then goes towards the final price of your tattoo. If you decide the design is not to your liking after consultation and choose to not get tattooed, the deposit will be then considered a drawing fee and will cover the cost of time spent creating your design.

  • If you need to reschedule your tattoo appointment, 72 hours notice must be given or your deposit will be forfeited.
  • All deposits are non-refundable* (In some circumstances the deposit can be refunded. Each situation will be reviewed individually).

DO YOU SEND DRAWINGS BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT?

The design I make for you will be based on the description you provide on the inquiry form. Therefore, the better you describe it, the more accurate the design will be. When you choose getting a tattoo with me means that you like my art and my style, and I expect you to have plenty of confidence in me and my ability to create what you have asked for!
This doesn’t mean that you’re not allowed to make changes. There is always time at the start of the appointment to make adjustments, discuss size and placement and make sure you are absolutely happy with your design. You will only start officially being charged when we start tattooing. However, if you decide on the day that you want to make big drastic changes to the design this may impact your appointment and deposit.

I’ll never tattoo something you aren’t absolutely certain about!

DO YOU TATTOO MINORS?

No, you must be 18+ years of age to get tattooed on your own without parental consent.

CAN I GET A TATTOO IF I’M PREGNANT / BREASTFEEDING?

I do not recommend getting tattooed if breastfeeding and I do not tattoo pregnant persons. If you have any further questions, please speak to your doctor prior to booking an appointment.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Yes, you can bring a friend into the tattoo workspace with you. Please do not bring a large entourage with you for your tattoo appointment to avoid distracting other artists and to maintain an accessible, uncompromised workspace for our staff and other customers.
Children are not permitted into the tattoo workspace area.

CAN I USE NUMBING CREAM?

You’re welcome to use numbing cream if that make you feel more comfortable, just give me a heads up! I do not give recommendations on brands. If you’re planning on using it, do your research and make sure to follow the directions properly to avoid misuse.

CAN I BRING MY OWN DESIGN?

Bringing in your own design idea is a great option but you have to keep in mind that it must be suitable to be tattooed and/or must be converted into a tattoo design. Not all drawings or images are suitable to be tattooed. You can book a consultation to go over your design and determine what will and will not work.

WILL MY TATTOO FADE / LIGHTEN / GET THICKER?

Yes, this is the natural process of aging in a tattoo. Lines tend to get thicker and the tattoo in general will fade. Therefore, it is specially important with fine line tattoos to choose an adequate size that will hold in the best way possible.

CAN I FAINT / PASS OUT DURING MY TATTOO?

It could happen. People tend to pass out because of nerves, not having eaten, low blood sugar, or heat. I’ll always do my best to assure your comfort and safety. I you faint, we can still finish your tattoo, but you’re not pressured to do so if you don’t feel comfortable continuing, we can always reschedule or cancel your appointment. It will be left at your discretion unless I feel you shouldn’t continue.

CAN I GO TO THE GYM / SWIMMING / SAUNA / GET A MASSAGE OR TAKE A SHOWER AFTER MY TATTOO?

  • I don’t recommend attending to the gym for at least 3-5 days after getting your tattoo.
  • You shouldn’t be swimming or going to sauna until your tattoo it’s fully healed.
  • When getting a massage, the tattooed area needs to be avoided.
  • Taking a shower is totally fine, just try not to get the area covered in soap or submerg it underwater for long periods of time. Baths are not suggested.

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU RECOMMEND TO HEAL MY TATTOO?

I recommend any non-scented lotions and soaps or coconut oil to aid in the healing of your tattoo. Common lotions are Aquaphore and Aveeno.

HOW CAN I KNOW IF MY TATTOO IS HEALED?

Your tattoo will no longer be dry, itchy, shiny or peeling. Your tattoo will feel as one with your skin and you will instinctively know that you have undergone the entire healing process. Feel free to send me a photo of your tattoo if you feel unsure.

DO I HAVE TO TIP?

Tipping is an extremely kind gesture and though it’s appreciated, it’s never expected. Tattoos are expensive and we understand that sometimes you save for months up until your appointment. If you want to tip, you can based your tip on factors like affordability, tattoo quality, time, and overall experience. Tips are graciously accepted no matter the amount.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE / NO-SHOW TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Please ensure that you do not no-show for an appointment. If you know you’re going to be late, please let me know to ensure I’m still be able to get you in as there may be appointments scheduled after you. If you are more than 20 minutes late; and we have to reschedule your appointment, you’ll forfeit your deposit.

WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

To cancel or reschedule an appointment you must let me know and ensure at least 72 hours notice before your scheduled appointment time.

  • Cancellations and rescheduling of appointments made inside of the 72 hour notification period will result in the loss of your deposit.
  • If you are looking to reschedule your appointment after having lost your original deposit, an additional fee will be required.
  • All deposits are non-refundable.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY TATTOO GETS INFECTED?

More often than not, what you perceive as an infection is actually an irritation. Allergic reactions or infections in tattoos are extremely rare. If you think there is an issue, please let me know, and if there is an actual infection, a physician will help you.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

There is street parking around the building. On 11th and 12th streets there is both free and paid parking, check the signs.
